💫🌟 Approaching the New Year with Yallaa 🌟💫
Arab Traditions for a Fresh Start and Abundance
In the Arab world, the New Year is celebrated with meaningful rituals that reflect hope, renewal, and protection.
As we approach 2025, many take part in customs that bring ...blessings and set the tone for a prosperous year ahead.
🌿 Planting New Life: Starting the year by planting a tree or caring for a plant symbolizes growth and a fruitful future.
🧂 Scattering Salt & Burning Incense: These practices purify spaces and ward off negative energy, creating a peaceful environment for the new beginning.
🍎 Breaking Pomegranates: Smashing pomegranates is believed to bring prosperity and blessings, with the scattered seeds symbolizing abundance.
🧿 Making Handmade Charms: Crafting protective charms, like the blue eye, ensures a positive, harmonious start to the year.

Welcome back to Yallaa Christmas Tales and Traditions 📜💫
Tonight, we are visiting The Sacred Refuge of the Holy Family, Abu Serga Church in Egypt 🇪🇬 🙌🏼
Nestled in Old Cairo, the Church of Abu Serga (Saints Sergius and ...Bacchus) tells a powerful story of faith and survival 🏛
According to tradition, the Holy Family Mary(Maryam) Joseph(Yusuf) and baby Jesus (isa), sought refuge here while fleeing the Roman massacre back home in Bethlehem Palestine 🇵🇸
This ancient church, built over the cave where they stayed, remains a sacred site, symbolizing protection and divine providence.
A visit to Abu Serga is a journey into history, faith, and the enduring spirit of hope 🙏🏼
