Yallaa was conceived from the passionate commitment of an Arab woman determined to share the beauty of her culture with the broader community in Northern Ireland. As the Arab community in the region continued to flourish, it became evident that a dedicated organization was needed – one committed to the promotion of Arab culture, arts, and heritage.
The Visionary Journey:
The founder, Rym Akhonzada, originally from Tunisia, envisioned Yallaa as a platform to bridge cultural gaps and foster understanding. Her journey began with a deep-rooted belief that cultural exchange is a powerful catalyst for building bridges, breaking down stereotypes, and creating a more inclusive society.
